Portlaoise Family Resource Centre is located in the new Treo Nua building on Harpurs Lane, in the Knockmay area North West of Portlaoise Town in County Laois.
Remember, the Portlaoise Family Resource Centre is the only FRC in Laois and is open to anyone from the surrounding area as well as within Portlaoise Town.

Directions

Getting here from local area :

• By foot/bike – If you live in Portlaoise, the centre is within about a 5-10 minute walk from market square at the top of the high street.
• By Car – please see detailed map – coming from the town centre take the N80 Tullamore/Mountmellick road (Coote St.) towards Knockmay and take a left into Harpurs Lane. We are located about 300m on the right hand side in the Treo Nua building.
• Please note there is a limited amount of free parking available at the centre.

Getting here from wider Laois area:

• From North Laois N80 (Mountmellick) – If coming from Mountmellick direction take the N80 south into Portlaoise and take a right turn into Harpurs Lane.
• From South Laois – If coming from Abbeyleix direction turn off the old N7 into Portlaoise and take N80 north. Then take left turn into Harpurs Lane.
• From East Laois – If coming from Mountrath direction take either the first turn or second turn for Portlaoise off the M7 and follow signs to N80 north. Then take left into Harpurs Lane.
• From West Laois – If coming from Stadbally direction on the N80 take a right at the top of the town (the square), staying on the N80 (signposted to Mountmellick/Tullamore) and take left onto Harpurs Lane.
